A superb quality Victorian burr walnut works/games table. This 19th century side hall lamp occasional type table has a wonderful top inlaid with scrolling marquetry foliage. The top opens to reveal a back gammon, cribbage and chess board; beneath which is a sliding drawer fitted to receive playing pieces and or sewing tapestry tools. Beneath this is a sliding well similarly inlaid. The whole is raised on shaped cabriole legs and united by a turned stretcher. This piece of furniture has been fully restored and is ready to place in the home.
Circa 1860.
