Antique pair of Victorian pier/console display cabinets. Constructed from figured walnut with scrolling marquetry foliate inlay and gilt bronze mounts. These antique pair of 19th century inlaid walnut side cabinets/cupboards are crossbanded in tulipwood and stand on a shaped plinth base with a concave frieze top.The cabinets have the more rare shaped door and crisp quality inlays all serving to make them a better example than your average model. They have been fully restored and re-lined using a superior water marked silk type fabric.
